Our Review:

In order to do a review I was sent a Plug-In Warmer, a Bar of Mochadoodle to melt and the tester kit which includes all 80+ scents to smell. Actually to tell you the truth this did not start off as a review. I wanted to smell the scents before placing an order for myself. I was so excited to find someone willing to share the Scentsy Basket Party with me and not just send a little chip of scent. I immediately tore open the box put the plug in together broke a piece of the brick off and set it to melt in the kitchen. I then opened the bag with all the testers and began smelling them all there were too many to get through all at one time but I was finding so many Scentsy Scents that I would love to have a brink of so I could melt. I had completely fallen in love. Since I fell in love I decided that I needed to share Scentsy with all of you in a review.

I can have the plug-in warming in the kitchen and one little square will scent the majority of the house or I can put it in the bedroom and get a much more rich flavor. I love the warm glow of the Scentsy Warmer I think it is my favorite part of Scentsy. It makes the room so inviting. Even though the Plug-In only uses a 15 watt bulb to melt the wax it gives the feeling of warming the room because of the glow. Since there is so little heat produced and no flame I can walk out of the room and leave the dogs in it without worrying or needing to blow out the flame. I love candles but I hate the burning smell that comes with lighting them and blowing them out with Scentsy that is illuminated so even after turning the warmer off you are left with the delicious smell.

Scentsy is safe to use around babies and pets as there is no open flame to worry about. The wax never gets above body temperature so even if little hands or paws do get in the wax they will not get burned. The wax will become solid again immediately on touching the air and can easily be peeled off a little finger or paw. Scentsy is also approved for college dorms, nursing homes, and condos that do not allow open flame candles due to safety precautions. In fact because Scentsy is allowed at college Scentsy has taken on the task of creating the Campus Collection so that students and alumni can show their school pride!

Since everyone claims that the wax does not get hot enough to burn skin I decided in order do a proper review that I would need to stick my finger in the melted wax to test it out. The wax does not even feel warm to the touch whether it was melting for a hour or several hours. I decided to see if Davinia and Indiana liked Scentsy as much as I was starting to so I let them smell a few random scents to see what they thought. Indiana thought they smelled so good it was difficult to keep her tongue out of the little jars and Davinia kept running away and coming back to smell more. I have heard several stories of dogs who start to sniff the air when Scentsy is being melted.

Have A Heart Rescue Florida is an organization that pulls urgent cases out of kill shelters, vets them, fosters them and finds the dogs homes. This weekend they pulled 12 dogs and brought them into their rescue to help give them a second change but they are in huge need of funds to pay the vet bills. Because aside from the usual visits many of the dogs they pull are heart worm positive being from the south and caught as strays. Heartworm treatment is not cheap but is necessary before these dogs can go to their forever homes.

Crested Guardians is trying to raise money to help little Jack Walker who was pulled out of a shelter unable to walk, missing most of his hair, had body, skin, and ears severely infected. Little Jack is now walking on his own, his skin feels better, and his infections have been cleared up. His legs are still wobbly as the vet suspects spinal injury that was never treated or disease. He has a long way to go and the medical bills keep escalating. He is a loving boy and deserves a chance to have a new life.
