Abandoned Puppy Found Inside Suitcase Outside Animal Shelter

Animal shelter volunteers in Rochester, Minnesota heard a puppy crying outside the door. They looked outside and found a suitcase. Calling over the head of the shelter they unzipped the suitcase and out popped a puppy. Now named Abel the abandoned puppy was starving when workers brought him inside to warm up but seems to otherwise healthy now that he has gotten some food and a warm place to rest.

Abel prefers the comfort of his suitcase to any of the dog beds offered to him at this point. So the shelter has made sure there are clean blankets in there for him to rest in and cuddle up to sleep. The shelter says that Abel will spend some time with them eating healthy food before he is put up for adoption.
