A staff member from Boston’s Second Chance Animal Center was walking one of the adoptable dogs yesterday when he saw someone throw s dog out of a moving vehicle. The dog a Pit Bull puppy is estimated to be about 6 or 7 months old. The dog had severe injuries on his face and legs unrelated to being thrown from the vehicle, leading her to believe the animal had been used as a bait dog in a dogfight. According to staff at Second Chance Animal Shelter there is no was this puppy was training to fight it is too sweet.
Staff have now named the little Pit Bull Blake and have given information to the police. Blake has now been given medical attention and his injuries were cleaned. They have put him on Antibiotics to keep any infections at bay while he heals. Staff expect Blake to make a complete recovery and be ready for adoption soon.
Now….what’s going to happen to the person who threw him out the car?
