Euthanized Puppies Thrown Out with Trash

Lets look past the fact that the puppies left at the shelter were Euthanized because they seemed sick and under weight because there was no place for sick animals to be kept away from the healthy strays. For now we will even overlook the fact that the puppy survived the poison being injected into his tiny little body and pronounced dead. We know from a similar story last year that sometimes unbelievable occurances like this happen. An animal seems to have succumbed to the poison and in actuality has not.

I want to focus on the fact that the puppies were thrown in the dumpster. Not buried in the yard or cremated or their bodies treated with respect in some way but thrown in the dumpster waiting for the garbage truck to pick up their bodies. From the video this seems like a small shelter with no money to treat sick animals and not enough space to house those seemingly healthy animals they already have. But don’t the animals deserve more respect then throwing their bodies out with the garbage?

    I totally agree with you.

In most states, putting deceased animals in a dumpster is illegal.

  2. Given how healthy that little miracle pup looks you have to wonder about his siblings.

What a sad way to treat abandoned animals and what an undignified way to treat them even when it was thought they were dead.

But we should be grateful in this case that they weren't buried or cremated.

Wow this shakes me to my core. What is wrong with the world me live in.

  4. I agree. When I first read about this, that was something that really bothered me. Why were these puppies just thrown out like trash instead of being treated with respect? It makes me sick.

  6. Sadly, I'm sure it was a cost-savings measure on their part. Calling someone out to properly dispose of carcasses carries a fee.

  7. I totally agree with you. A dumpster is for garbage and I don't think any ouppy deserves to be considered garbage. A life is a life.
