Airbrush Doggy Tattoos

I just saw this video and had to share with you all because it is something that I think deserves some discussion. As you all can probably tell by now Davinia and Indiana aren’t exactly the prissiest dogs on the block. I do all of their grooming myself (except for their dew claws which the vet does for me). I don’t dress them in cutesy little outfits though they each have a Halloween Costume that I will put them in if it is cold enough for them to go outside for a walk in clothes (its about 4 years old now). They have a total of 3 pajamas each, 1 rain coat each, and 1 winter coat each.

I have never dyed their fur or used paw nail polish on them and they don’t wear fancy Bling for more then a few seconds at a time and it is usually something of mine anyway that they showed interest in. Indiana would rather eat a flower then wear it in her ears. For the most part both of the girls would rather roll in the mud then wear a dress. I was still using both of their plain brown leather leashes which I bought when Indiana was a Puppy until this past December but now am down to only one of them.

Anyway, I kind of think these airbrush tattoos are cute and would consider airbrush sponsorship on the girls when we are at an event. Not sure how that would work and the hotel we stay at would probably not like the dye all over their hotel rooms. But if it were a word or a cute picture I don’t see a problem with it. Would I pay to have someone do it on a regular basis no. Would I do it for something other then Halloween or Sponsorship probably not. I do think that it must work better for a short coated dog though. So what do you all think about Airbrush Doggy Tattoos?

  1. no, we don't like it. I want a real one..BOL

  2. Well, I have greyhounds, so they have real tattoos in their ears. I'd do it for a special event or a fundraiser as long as I knew it was safe. A long-coated dog would have a pretty hard time with that, though, I'm guessing.

I thinks it looks pretty cool, but mom is not so sure…

  4. Hello…I am not opposed to giving a dog a tattoo for special occasions but I have a problem with spray painting a dog to look like a tiger or a panda because I think it is cruel and unnecessary. I just don't understand why someone would want their pooch to resemble any other creature other than a dog and I wonder how the dog feels about their drastic change of appearance.
