BlogPaws 2013 The Recap

BlogPaws 2013 The Recap

The Keynotes have been given the Sessions are over. Friendships were made and others were rekindled. Dogs and cats met giant rabbits and ferrets. Ideas were shared developed and created. BlogPaws 2013 was a whirlwind of learning, growing, educating, and networking.

Indiana in the elevator

Davinia and Indiana finally met people who knew them by sight. They had their picture taken in the elevator thanks to @jhada1 (at least it wasn’t the restroom with their heads peeking out from under the stall door) and were kissed and cuddled by new friends. They met with brands got backs full of cookies, chew bones, and food. The minute we arrived and got out of the car we went over the BlogPaws Staff room where they were greeted by an over enthusiastic Yellow Lab and an Australian Shepard which neither they nor I was expecting on the other side of the door. They ate eggs and potatoes for breakfast with the Pet360 Team on Friday and Saturday and hung out with Eldad and Annie eating pizza at 1 in the morning.

Attendees all went home, the hotel is empty now. Our Team Meetings are over and everyone is on their way home if not home already. Emails have been flying back and forth and ideas to take BlogPaws to the next level are on the table and ready for implementation. Tickets are on Sale for BlogPaws 2014 in Lake Las Vegas and many of you have already registered!

BlogPaws is about Shaping social media excellence, influence and education one amazing pet parent at a time. Its what we at BlogPaws use to gauge whether or not a program, idea, or speaker is the right one. It is the idea we use to make sure we are giving the community what you need in order to be successful bloggers. (Successful is whatever you want it to mean).

The BlogPaws team is here to
Empower pet parenting bloggers & social media advocates to amplify their voices, expand their influence, and generate economic opportunity, while supporting fellow members efforts to give back to the pets we love so much. We hope that this idea came across in everything that was done at BlogPaws this weekend.

1. BlogPaws is about you. We are the most valued and trusted pet community online, sharing new technology, enabling strong personal relationships, and promoting members’ ideas through videos, pictures and writings.
We want to know how we can help YOU. Help you become better more efficient and effective Bloggers. We want to implement programs that help promote YOU. If I didn’t get to speak with you over the weekend please leave a comment and let me know how we can help you!

2. We amplify our members’ voices, across all social media channels. Every year, we introduce new educational opportunities in the latest technology, writing, business and advocacy, taught by outstanding educators focused on supporting our members in their personal endeavors.
From Pinterest to Triberr to Facebook to Twitter we hope there were opportunities for you to learn, grow, and share your knowledge with others so that we aplify all of our voices to a giant Roar!

3. We take the worry out of making money online! Being a part of the BlogPaws community and network will maximize your income by giving you a chance to participate in paid programs and marketing campaigns where we do the heavy lifting – all you have to do is what you do best: share and participate in being online for pets.
Really we do. Whether you want a source of passive income from your blog to help you cover the cost of a plane ticket to Lake Las Vegas or BlogPaws 2013 or you want to be able to raise some money for your local rescue that is what we are here to help with. Passive income in that you are already writing the posts, engaging your fans, and creating content all you need to do is add some code to the sidebar of your blog (don’t worry we can help you with that too) so that when people do visit you make some money. We also offer more hands on ways to monetize your Blog through our Blog Campaigns were we ask you to writ a post or share information about a company, product, or idea and you get paid to share the information with your readers. We would never ask you to do something you are uncomfortable with which means you opt in or out of everything within the network. You can even tell us you don’t want to run ads for a specific product or only want to run ads related to cats that is not a problem just let us know.

  7. Wonderful post! Mom went alone to Blogpaws since it was the first time she could concentrate on what was going on but she missed me and I missed being there! It was a wonderful time and so much was learned…now to put it all into practice! She enjoyed meeting lots of the people we had only known from online as well!

  8. As always, the BlogPaws 2013 conference was amazing. I’ll admit, juggling 3 cats had me a bit distracted and I didn’t learn as much or take very good notes at the sessions I did attend, so I will certainly try and take advantage over the coming year, to avail myself of all the info and expertise that this community shares! See everyone in Las Vegas in 2014! (and with just Coco along, maybe I’ll actually focus on learning this time, hahameow!)
