I am a proud Texas girl and like to believe I am a little different than the rest. I love God- who is my everything, my hubby- who treats me like a princess, sports- especially baseball and football, cars- mostly American Muscles, animals- my puppy is my world, and working out- I love the intense stuff like P90X and Insanity. Then there is my love for crafting!!
Currently, I am a full-time student studying to become a Registered Nurse and am very excited about my career choice, but with the high demands of being a nursing student it is difficult to find time for work. Etsy is the most perfect place to allow me to use my creative outlet, work from home, and make a little money.
My grandmother taught me to sew when I was 13 and have been learning and putting things together ever since. It is such an artistic craft I really enjoy. I believe it takes a special person to commit the time and patience it takes to sew and make great products. I find great pleasure in my completed projects and want to share those with everyone.
About a year ago, I finally opened my Etsy shop Sweet Keeps after being pushed by family and friends to sell my stuff. I started off selling many different items including baby items, quilts, appliqué shirts, and such. I enjoy making those items, but now I have found something I absolutely love making- Dog Collars! As a dog owner, I get frustrated with the limited colors and designs of collars available in stores. Now that I can make my dog’s collars, the possibilities are endless. Why not share that with everyone on Etsy, too?! This is why my availability for custom orders is so important to me.
