Capi the German Shepherd Winner is thought to have the best chance to take home the Herding Dog Group Win tonight but with some upsets during the day its hard to know which dog is going to be the winner of their Group and advancing to Best in Show Competition tomorrow night.
With a complete upset of Kate winning over Ally and London two of the top winning standard Poodles in the past year it has opened up the possibilities of who will take center stage in the Non-Sporting Group tonight. Since things are so up in the air I am just going to pick a breed from the Non-Sporting Breed that is not as known as some of the others to spotlight.
If this Lhasa Apso shows as much determination tonight GCH Ch Ta Sen Bond James Bond could very well wind up with the Group win.
The little Whippet that walked away with the breed win today came as no surprise to anyone Chanel has been the star of so many shows she has been to in the past 2 years. Her owner’s, handlers, and fans are hoping for a Best in Show Westminster win with her this year so she is certainly one little girl you will want to keep your eyes on tonight.
The toy group has some pretty stiff competition between the Affenpinscher and the Pekingese. Some are going with the Pekingese as the dog that will take home the Group win. I have to say after finding a picture of the Pekingese where you can see his face I have to say I am sort of favoring the Peke tonight. That’s not to say I wouldn’t love to see a Cavalier win but chances are very unlikely.
Love the Peke! He was adorable.
