Carrie Underwood and her Rescue Dog
Because Pedigree is for every dog, both purebred and mixed, they decided to hold their very own “Every Dog, Dog Show” in the Pedigree Adoption Drive’s Facebook community between now and 11 p.m. ET on 2/14. For every dog lover that interacts with their Facebook page (www.facebook.com/pedigree) – they will donate a bowl of food up to 500,000 bowls of food!
All you (and your friends) need to do is upload a photo of your four-legged friend or tell them your dog’s story. And, when you do, they will help feed a homeless dog in a shelter or breed rescue.
Still not sure what to do? Check out Davinia’s post on their Facebook Wall or the countless other posts that have gone up since the start of this fun campaign. Whether you have a rescue that you took in because you found it cold in the street, went to a shelter and picked your dog out, or have a Purebred dog from a reputable breeder all dogs are welcome to post their picture on Pedigree’s wall. The event is just a fun way to say they love dogs and think Dogs Rule!

In 2010 they had a Facebook drive with the goal of reaching 1 million fans. For each new fan they received that year they donated a bowl of food to shelter dogs. Their campaign became the basis of all of the other big campaigns out there trying to raise money, food, etc for those in need.
