The Max the Argentine Dogo that bit a Denver news anchor will be allowed to go home Saturday, according to its owner.
Michael Robinson Max’s owner says Max will have completed the 10-day quarantine mandated after the bite incident that happened live on the air during an interview at the TV station. Robinson says his dog was up to date on his vaccinations while initial reports had said that Max was not up to date on his rabies vaccination. If Max was up to date on his rabies vaccinations there should never have been a quarantine period as it would have been impossible for the dog to have shown signs of Rabies disease unless of course they are saying the woman had contracted Rabies before Max bit her and then Max would need a new injection just to be safe. Max’s owners also claims that and he never had a history of aggressive behavior. Though rumors are circulating that Max will have to be at a hearing sometime in April to determine his fate because the bite took place in the city where Bully Breeds are illegal and even though Max is an Argentine Dogo and not bred to be aggressive he is somehow being considered a dangerous breed because he looks like them and because he bit the news anchor. I actually saw a video taken from straight on that shows the anchor’s face before and after the bite. While the video cuts out seconds after the bite there is no blood or wound seen.

good to hear

The stupid woman shouldn’t have gotten into his face like she did.
