Each year 5 dogs from each breed are invited to attend Westminster. These are the dogs that have routinely won shows throughout the year and won big bringing them to the top of their respective breed lists. These are dogs that should absolutely be the ones you watch for when it comes time for the Group Ring on Monday and Tuesday night.
Beckham, a black cocker spaniel, was the No. 1 show dog in the United States in 2011, notching a jaw-dropping 68 BIS’s. Small in stature but over-sized in charm, according to the book makers in Las Vegas Becks is a prohibitive favorite to represent the group in Best in Show.
