Missing Service Dog Found and Returned to Veteran

This is Lucy who is still missing not Tyson who has been found

The missing service dog belonging to a veteran with PTSD and seizures is now safely home. The dog was missing for two weeks and after a news station aired information about the missing dog the person who found it was able to get in touch with the owner and reunite the two. The person that found Tyson the dog turned down the reward and instead asked that the money be donated to an animal charity of the veteran’s choosing.

Tyson’s owner is so glad his dog is back home and has made plans to get the dog micro-chipped so if he does accidentally get loose again anyone who finds the dog will be able to locate him easily. While we were hoping that this was the dog we told you about last week it actually turns out that this was a different missing service dog. Tyson is a male lab where Lucy the dog we told you about last week was a female Boxer mix. One was in San Antonio, Texas the other in El Paso, Texas. Yes we are confused too but hope that Lucy has also found her way home to her owner. Here is the link to Lucy’s information if you would like to help ensure she makes it home as far as we can tell there have been no reports that she has been returned yet.  https://twolittlecavaliers.com/2011/11/help-find-lost-service-dog.html
