Davinia decides she wants the bone afterall
A few weeks ago we were sent some SmartBones for the dogs to try in hopes they would like them and we could do a review on our blog. SmartBones are Rawhide Free Dog Chews! Well, the girls LOVED the Peanut Butter Flavor so much they both snatched them up and hid one under the couch and one behind the bed where I couldn’t even see them. Everyone was so quiet it was like they weren’t even in the house while they were eating them. I wanted to wait for a nice sunny day so the girls could have the bones again and I could attempt to take pictures no matter where they ran off to. Today was the day and the flavor they tried was Dental. Indiana didn’t even want to let me take it out of the package she was ready to take the plastic and cardboard under the couch and get it off herself. Of course I wouldn’t let her do that but the second it was offered to her she ran directly under the couch. Davinia on the other hand was not as big of a fan of this flavor but after a few licks she was more then happy to run off to one of their blankets and chew on it until it was all gone. I think she just is not a fan of Dental Flavor treats and prefers Peanut Butter I mean what dog wouldn’t. If your dog doesn’t like Peanut Butter or they have never had it no worries they have a chicken flavor bones too.
This is one dog treat / dog chew that if we were offered a year supply we would not turn down. Of course we might have to ask for all Peanut Butter as our flavor of choice but they girls really loved them

Why is it important for my dog to chew anyway?
Historically, in the wild, dogs used to tear through the skin of a wild beast to get at the meat, cleaning their teeth naturally in the process. I have a rescued turned Service Dog, Aurora! She is a husky/blue heeler mix, and very beautiful! She looks like a husky with the blue spots on her back, but she is a small husky, only 35lbs! Perfect size and very loving!

I hope this is where to comment for the contest. I have one dog and my parents have 2. I have a chihuauah delilah and my parents have a two meedium dogs, one is a corgi that is about 30 pounds and the other is a mix that is abuot 40 pounds. raw hide isn’t good for the corgi so these would be perfect for them.

This is great information regarding a product that sounds absolutely wonderful! Not only have you given us information about the product, but also about why chewing is a natural behavior for dogs! Can’t wait to try these and neither can my dogs!
