Yesterday afternoon, the Pennsylvania SPCA (PSPCA) found two emaciated pit bull mix dogs and a cat buried under four feet of trash in a residential backyard. The dogs were found in enough time and are still alive. The hope is they can still be nursed back to health. A warrant was obtained to remove the original dog from the home. While rescuing this dog, officials heard whimpering. Under the debris was another emaciated dog, poking its head out from underneath the trash.
George Bengal, director of humane law enforcement, told the press that the dog was buried alive under a mountain of trash. An emaciated cat was also found inside the house. All of the animals were taken to the PSPCA hospital and are currently receiving treatment. The Pennsylvania SPCA said both dogs are severely emaciated, but Phoenix was much worse and was unable to walk yesterday. She’s walking a bit today and is getting lots of love and attention.
Two men living at the property were cited for animal cruelty and at least three others will also be cited. Fleas, parasites, and drugs were also found inside the home.
Book ’em Dano, and throw the book at them!!!!! Waterboarding is too good for them!!!
DOES EVERYONE UNDERSTAND NOW how animal cruelty is just the beginning??? of Drugs and other abuses, to children and other people? PLEASE LOCK THESE PEOPLE UP and send a message that this will NOT be tolerated!!!! Praying these babies will fully recover and be placed in LOVING homes.
