Ozzie and his wife Sharon fell in love with the little Yorkshire terrier at Holly Robinson Peete’s, 13th Annual Design Care event that helps to raise money for the HollyRod Foundation, which helps families coping with autism and Parkinson’s disease. Sharon who everyone knows as a very vocal dog lover spotted the eight-week-old puppy at the start of the night, and told People magazine, ‘That puppy is divine’.
The bidding opened on the puppy at $5,000, but Ozzy was quickly outbidding the competition with his final offer of $10,000 for the dog. After leaving the event Sharon tweeted a picture of the puppy so her fans could see the latest edition to the Osbourne household. The puppy who has now been Charlie will be moving into his new home next week. Rumor has it that Charlie comes from a rescue that is something I have not been able to confirm or deny. Yes it would be even better if the puppy came from some kind of rescue situation and donated all that money to the HollyRod Foundation either way it is still a lot of money going to charity. The Hollyrod Foundation does help families whose autistic child needs animal therapy maybe this little one will be destined to become a therapy dog as well.
They need to give a little to the French Bulldog Rescue Network.. Good for them!

I’m sorry, but I’m appalled! I despise seeing live animals auctioned off, regardless of the cause. If a rescue is involved, that is even worse. What rescue has no problem with one of their dogs being sold to a person and them having no say? This is not something to be applauded, this should be presented as yet another example of why this is such a bad idea.
