@AT&T @Motorola Enough Already Complete #FAIL

Periodically I get to tell you about my Internet problems because AT&T messes up again and again. Recently I tried to switch my service so that it would hopefully be more reliable at 12 speed. Fast cars fast internet what more could a girl ask for. But no AT&T decided that in order for me to have the privilege of having their equipment in the house I would have to give them a $300 deposit. Well that was out of the question so I had to stay with my current service.

I was online this morning it is pouring out so I let the girls sleep in until there was a bit of a break. I took them out for all of 10 minutes in the rain. They were wearing their rain jackets but we played in the puddles anyway. Even Indiana played in the puddles. I don’t understand why Indiana will play in puddles but freaks to if I take her in the pool. Anyway I got home gave the girls towels to dry off on and went back to my computer.

No internet.

Checked the modem red light on no DSL light so I called AT&T. Once again they wanted to blame my computer or my lines in or around the house when it was their equipment failure for the 7th time in 3 years. Yep I have been through 7 Motorola Modems provided by AT&T that burn out. Not because of my internet use which might be understandable hence why I wanted to switch to 12 Speed from 6 Speed). But because the equipment itself is faulty and heats up and then burns out. AT&T knew it and kept supplying it for years and Motorola kept selling it to them even though it is completely defective. Time and time again I have had to call customer service to deal with the same problem. In fact they know the modems are so bad at one point when I called about service issues they sent me 5 replacement modems which I have now gone through completely and in order to get internet back I will have to wait 3 to 5 BUSINESS DAYS. There is no way to speed up delivery so I am now internet less. Me someone who wakes up and turns on the computer before even getting out of bed works all day on it and doesn’t shut down until the middle of the night. Best part is I can’t get the people on the phone who can change my bill so that I don’t have to pay for the lack of internet.

All I can to say is thank you to McDonalds for the use of your Wifi and the Sweet Tea. I will become a permanent fixture here for the next few days now that I know there is even a place to plug in and I will have to put on a sweatshirt so I don’t freeze to death. The smell of the French Fries might make me crazy though especially because they have wheat in them which means I can’t have them.

Anyone else have a horrible AT&T story maybe if we all share on this post and re-tweet it they will finally listen to their customers and do something about it.
