Twin Bengal Tiger cubs were born at the Tianshan Safari Park in northwest China‘s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region to 8 year old tigers. Only the mother Tiger has not been able to produce enough milk to care for the babies so a surrogate had to be found quickly. The only animal they could come up with on short notice was a dog who had recently had a litter of puppies. The dog mother has become fond of the twin tigers cubs who seem to be nursing alongside her own puppy. According to the safari park staff, one of the twin tigers is of normal color, while the other is all in white.
The parents of the twin tigers were introduced to Xinjiang from Shanghai in 2007 and the twin babies are their second birth. The cubs are now growing healthy and are expected to meet visitors by June 1. These two cubs made 12 tigers born in the park since January bringing the total number of tiger to 40 in the Safari Park.
Wonder what you did with the other puppies..? Hard to believe that there was only one pup from a mother of this size..and you did say she had a “litter of puppies”…! I realize that China has very low respect for dogs and cats..so I fear for those other puppies and where they went…. I wish we could stop the unbelievable cruelty of the dog and cat fur farms in your country…it is an unreal horror and the whole world knows about it !! Please do what you can to put a stop to this..and shame on your government for condonning this cruelty..all in the name of money !!!!!!
Well really dunno what had happen to other puppies, but after going through the article my heart really go bit touchy. Its so very rare to hear about such stories. This proves again that even animals have heart & feelings so we human should stop doing cruelty to them.
