Michael Vick the Documentary

Yes you read that right. Bombo Sports & Entertainment believes this monster is worthy of a 70 to 90 minute documentary to be released in theaters in time for the 2011 NFL Season. Here is why the company thinks this is a good idea for a movie. “It should be a good film about an athlete who is fantastically talented and really polarizing at the same time.” said Bombo CEO Bob Potter. Not only will there be a documentary about this monster but he will be the star of the movie there on the big screen for all to see and idolize. Which apparently will help him get back into stores like Toys R Us that is geared towards children where he will appear as an action figure or on the box top of video games.

Are they going to be filming his dog fighting ring allowing him to take part since he is staring in this documentary? Or will they just forget to include it or say they couldn’t fit it into the movie? They will want to be able to give this movie a rating so that children can see it and want to go to the store and buy his action figure or whatever else his team of Marketing and PR people come up with.

An agreement with the NFL needs to be reached if the league’s intellectual property and footage are going to be used in this movie. Its time for the NFL to say enough is enough and not agree to release any footage for a documentary about and staring the Monster. Apparently sponsorship opportunities for the yet-to-be-named film are now being sold. What company is going to want to get in bed with him knowing the backlash they will feel once again over endorsing him?

Of course this announcement was made the very same day his Marketing and PR people had him denounce the Android App called Dog Wars which glorifies Dog Fighting. Which apparently is also great timing for his other current endeavor to get himself on the box top of some video game so as his Marketing people put it he can once again be seen in toy stores. Personally if I had children he is not someone I would want them to idolize, look up to, or want to see a movie about or play in a video game so the fact he isn’t in toy stores or video games really doesn’t bother me at all.

  1. This man played for the Falcons in Atlanta, and he had everything. He had money, family, and professional support. He said the was raised such that dog fighting was just something to do. In Atlanta, his name is still not thought of well. We won't be watching.

  2. You know, people tend to forget the dog fighting because it was Michael Vick who scored the winner touch down. Apparently, those people don't have dogs…..I don't like him and I don't watch the Eagles, I'll watch any other team but I don't support the Eagles. I hate to say this but it's very typically for those who are raised poor and make it big, you just can't take them out of the getto
