California First Dog Helps Lower State Deficit

One little Corgi is hard at work doing his part to lower the California State budget deficit one Cafe Press sale at a time. That’s right Sutter Brown first dog of California who is as social media savvy as the rest of us and has his own Facebook Profile and Twitter account took notice of his followers and fans and with their help is helping to lower the California budget deficit. For every item that is sold through his twitter account $3 is give to California’s General Fund.

Who is Sutter Brown? Governor Jerry Brown’s dog that’s who and he has become quite the celebrity at the Capitol. The 7-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi is now capitalizing on his popularity by selling his own line of merchandise of t-shirts, tote bags, coffee mugs and other fun items with his Twitter name: @SutterBrown.

Since the creation of his I am @SutterBrown Cafe Press Store Sutter has managed to raise $1,200 quite a contribution for one little dog.
