US Trained Search and Rescue Dogs Look for Survivors in Japan

USAID / FEMA sent 2 teams of 6 dogs and their handlers over to Japan to help in rescue efforts. Freezing conditions, a fuel shortage, badly damaged roads, and debris from the Tsunami have all been hampering relief efforts.

Many thanks to the dog teams for helping in the rescue efforts. It takes a lot of time and training and I commend these important teams.
