Hope for the Future of Japan

http://www.youtube-nocookie.com/v/l5XerJ1mjW4?fs=1&hl=en_US

Pictures of hope amid total destruction due to the Earthquakes and Tsunami of Japan. Hope for a future is all the people of Japan have to hold on to hope they will be reunited with loved ones who are missing, hope they will find their pets again, hope that there is not a complete and total meltdown of the nuclear reactors.

Through rescue efforts and humanitarian aid families are slowly being reunited and can begin dreaming of a future.

  1. Oh Felissa. Thank you for sharing such a powerful and moving video. In the face of even more grim news for the people and pets of Japan, it is a nice reminder that they can overcome and believe in a better day. Thanks for being on the forefront of this disaster and sharing news as you get it.

  2. Very heartfelt video! We need to help the people of Japan. Helping their pets helps them. Been reading your blog for updates since it happened – excellent work!

I have little to add to the previous comments except… that little cavalier looks like he was “well sheltered” from the tsunami. 🙂 Can you imagine what he *would* look like?

    Hi Y'all,

The video brought tears to my eyes. The rescue workers, rescue dogs and vets who have gone in there are so brave and selfless.

  11. Thank you for this video. It brought tears to my eyes. Last night, we saw George Takai and listened to his plea for Japanese relief as well. Hopefully, with this HUGE concerted effort that so many people are making we can make an AWESOME difference. It looks from you video that our help has made a difference. It made me happy to see those WordVets boxes and people helping and people with their dogs. Children getting fed– FOOD!

It helps to see that our donations ARE making a difference.

It should encourage people to give and DO more!

    Well posted!

  12. Thank you for posting this video…our hearts are filled with hope for the people and pets in Japan and for all the rescue workers.
