Welcome to Two Little Cavaliers. We are so excited to be participating in this Giveaway which runs from February 8th – February 13th.
Are you looking for great dog tips about how to keep your dog happy and healthy without breaking the bank? Then this is the book for you. The authors of the book show how we spend money on our pets purchasing premium products that we can easily make at home. From tips on how to make dog beds to teaching the reader how to save on premium dog food the tips on how to keep your dog happy and healthy are fantastic. The book includes tips on everything from spending a day visiting yard sales to up cycling old clothing.
It tells us to plan ahead for unforeseen events instead of scrabbling trying to deal with them. With help for everything from where to buy a new crate for your puppy to how to make your own no wash cleaner there is something for everyone from the seasoned dog owner to someone owning a dog for the first time. It really breaks down the money we spend on our dogs each year and allows the reader to see where they might be able to save a bit instead of paying full price. And its not like our dogs care if the new toy or bed is from the doggy boutique or donated to a garage sale as a fundraiser. Case in point the picture below is of Indiana sleeping with my parents dog Whisper. They are sleeping on top of a blanket surrounded by two giant sized pillows (one behind Indiana and the other behind Whisper. Indiana thought Whispers bed was the best and wanted to sleep in Whispers bed all day. Indiana dug herself in and would only move when she heard the fridge being opened. So for $5 at a Garage Sale Whisper has a fantastic bed area for the winter that even Indiana approves of.
The tips don’t stop there they tell you were to locate certain items that you might have a problem sourcing so that you can actually take advantage of the tricks they talk about. Whether you are a Frugal Fido or a Couture Puppy this book will help you save money on the things you go through quickly (food, toys for puppies, collars as they grow) so you have more to spend in other areas like yearly vet visits and maybe even a playmate for your current dog.
