Not Quite Wordless Wednesday: Dress Up

When we lived in Hong Kong our apartment was right across the street from the park. After school the kids would hang out and play and Indiana and Davinia would join them. This picture was from a school break and the kids decided to dress the girls up as Rock Stars and they were their groupies. Something about this image makes me think of this picture from Lady and the Tramp. The girls loved to play with them the boys would talk Davinia running and play with Indiana and the girls thought they were dolls and wanted to hold them and make up games.

We would also just call the picture United Nations because of all the countries represented. Indiana and Davinia were born in Germany. Davinia’s Dad is from the UK. The boys holding each other were are brothers half French half Filipino, the girl on the left her dad was from Spain and her mom Filipino, the girl on the right I believe she was at least half Hong Kong Chinese but I could be wrong, we didn’t really know the boy in green he didn’t live on our block but went to school with the rest of them.
