Sufolk County on Long Island is Proposing an Animal Abuser Registry which would work the same way as Child Molester Registry. Registry will be run by the local SPCA and through private donations. The hope is that once it is in place there other places around the country will quickly adopt it and implement it so that it becomes a Nationwide Registry.
