Write a Blog Post Help a Dog! #dogsrule

As many of you know Pedigree Sponsored our blog to attend the first BlogPaws event. We had such an amazing time and owe so much to them for giving us the amazing opportunity to be there to learn from everyone meet amazing people and grow as a blog.

Flash forward to BlogPaws West and I found out that Pedigree Pet Adoption Drive would once again be sending our blog to BlogPaws! Yes we have know for a while that we were being sponsored but we wanted to wait until we had some really cool things to tell you about before we made the announcement. I don’t think I could have waited another minute for the approval to post the rest of this information because I have to be on the plane at 7:20 in the morning and I am not packed yet.

The Facts:
Each year, more than 4 million dogs end up in shelters and breed rescue organizations. Pedigree created The PEDIGREE Adoption Drive to help shine a spotlight on the plight of these homeless dogs.

This year the PEDIGREE Adoption Drive is raising awareness for homeless dogs by donating a bowl of food to shelter dogs for everyone who becomes a “Fan” or “Likes” The PEDIGREE Adoption Drive on Facebook. So far more than 1 million bowls have been donated the goal is for Pedigree to be able to give a bowl of food to each and everyone of the 4 million dogs in shelters and rescues by the end of the year.

Special for BlogPaws West: For each blog that posts about the PEDIGREE® Adoption Drive through September 19^th, PEDIGREE® will donate a bag of their new Healthy Longevity Food for Dogs to shelters nationwide.

I always appreciate activities such as this… I hope there is also initiative like that about rabbits even just for their rabbit hutch only. SO that they have ready shelter when got adopted.
