HACHI: A DOG’S TALE Synopsis:
In “Hachi: A Dog’s Tale,” Richard Gere (“Chicago,” “And the Band Played On”) stars as Professor Parker Wilson, a distinguished scholar who discovers a lost Akita puppy on his way home from work. Despite initial objections from Wilson’s wife, Cate (Joan Allen, “Georgia O’Keefe,” “Nixon”), Hachi endears himself to the Wilson family and grows to be Parker’s loyal companion. One day, as the Professor heads to the train station to go to work, Hachi follows. Wilson orders the dog home, but is astonished to find him waiting at the train that evening. This becomes de rigueur for Professor Wilson and Hachi.

Hi,
We were very excited to read this. We ran to the TV to set the DVR but couldn't find the show listed on Lifetime. After doing a search we found it on Hallmark channel.
Kisses,
Emma Rose
Wow, I didn't know that was one…thanks!
Oh boy, we have heard about this movie but didn't know it was on tonight. I have ordered mom to set up the DVR NOW! Thanks!
I think it's on Hallmark though.
Wow! Sounds like good tv! Fank you!

I have seen that movie!
Sarah liked it, and I was by her side. 🙂
She didn't cry (not a cryish-moive person) but said it was sad. 🙂
Our older sister who HATES dogs, including me (Eek)! Even cried in this! Amazing!!!
Have you Cavaliers seen it??
I'm watching it right now and I've already teared up a few times. Even my cat Gracie Lynn plopped her butt in front of the tv and watched a little of it 😀
No we haven't see it. We watch all of our tv on the computer. Hopefully it will come to Hulu so we can cuddle on mommy's lap to watch it with her.
I watched it for the first time tonight and balled. I know, I know….I just hate to see animals hurting emotionally or physically. I know it was a movie but still has some truth to it. I feel for Hachi, now I'm sure he's with his master for forever. Oh the love of a dog beats everything.
I watched it. What a tear jerker! Hachi was certainly a loyal dog.
Check out this sweet Hallmark movie I saw with Cybill Shepherd called “Mrs. Washington goes to Smith”. http://bit.ly/9FQZmW
