Grain Free Dog Food Behind the Scenes with Hill’s Ideal Balance

Going to the Pet Food Store or looking at all of the choices at your favorite online store can really make your head spin. Do you wish there was a way to go behind the scenes and learn about how each food is made, what research was put into the creation of the food, is the food balanced and healthy for your dog?
Grain Free Dog Food Ideal Balance
Hill’s Ideal Balance has asked us to give our readers a Behind the Scenes Look at the new Ideal Balance Grain Free Dog Food Formulas because they know you deserve to really understand how things work at Hill’s. Even while they are promoting their products currently on the shelves they have their ears to the ground to listen to what pet parents have to say about what they want to feed their dogs. They take that information and bring it back to their teams of veterinarians, scientists, and researchers to create a product that you want and is formulated for your pet. From there, the pet nutritionists at Hill’s developed a recipe with a careful selection of high quality, natural ingredients to create great tasting pet food recipes with optimal levels of over 50 nutrients. That means it was formulated with not too much and not too little of the key ingredients that help promote your pet’s best health – the key ingredients you said you wanted. Other brands might say they listen but from personal experience I know that Hill’s not only listens but acts on it. Don’t believe me? Several months ago during a Hill’s twitter chat a friend and I made an offhand comment that we would stop by the Hill’s booth at an upcoming event for coffee if they had almond milk available. Guess what? They made a special point of having almond milk available at their coffee bar. It was something so little but it is something I will not forget and was their way of saying – yes we do listen.

So yes I do know first hand that they listen to what we have to say. When people said they wanted Grain Free Dog Food, Hill’s listened and formulated the Ideal Balance Line. It was not an overnight thing though they made sure it was created int eh right combinations of ingredients to be healthy for your dog and provide the nutrients, vitamins, and minerals your dog needs. Hill’s Ideal Balance has no corn, wheat, soy, artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. They created a food line that will stand up to the test of time just like all of their other foods. Hill’s is not a fly by night brand. Since their beginning back in 1939, Hill’s has pioneered nutrition in pet food. Even way back then they believed managing nutrition could have a positive effect on the health of companion animals. This philosophy still remains true today all these year later when determining if a food needs to be reformulated or if they need to create an entire new line of food in response to what you as a pet owner has to say. Hill’s employs over 150 veterinarians and pet nutritionists in the development of their products.

Once they had the food created, tested, researched, and ready for market they had to figure out how to show pet parents that Hill’s listened to what they had to say when creating their new line of Grain Free Dog Food. So they created an entirely new logo and went more natural looking with their branding. But that also meant that they had to come up with advertisements and commercials that didn’t speak at the consumer but spoke to the consumer as the answer to what they were asking for. And since Hill’s is showing you behind the scenes they thought you would appreciate a behind the scenes look at just what went into the creation of their tv commercial.
