Dogs and Cows – A Day in the Mountains

Dogs and Cows

Davinia sniffing the flowers
Davinia loves to sniff around in all of her grandpa’s plants. She will sniff the flowers, leaves, and dirt and if anything smells really nice she will try to eat it. Grandpa says dogs aren’t supposed to eat plants but Davinia has other ideas.

Whisper behind the chair
Whisper loves to sleep curled up behind the chairs. She has an entire porch to sleep on including a mat and 2 beds for dogs but she likes her space behind the chairs.

Davinia
Davinia looking all innocent after being told to stop eating the plants. She wants to know why her grandpa puts plants all over the house and porch if they aren’t for the dogs to eat.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
Indiana decided she didn’t want to pose for pictures today. she wanted to roll around on the ground and soak up the spring sun.

Davinia found herself a nice sun spot behind the plants that smell so nice. She thought it was a great place to sit because no one could get to her there.

cows
When I went out earlier today I saw the cows in the field and I had to go back to get my camera to finally take pictures. I have never seen cows that are as nice as the ones that live at this specific house they are fat year round and have nice shiny coats. I considered getting closer but since I didn’t have permission to visit with the cows I just took some pictures from the road.

  3. One of our Cavaliers ignores cows (on TV) but the other will ignore a dog on TV, but if there is a Cow or a Horse I hear a long low growl coming out of her, as if she is waiting to pounce if it comes closer.
