Random Acts of Play!

Indiana and Grandpa Random Acts of Play

According to a recent survey on the state of play in the U.S., 82-percent of the total adults surveyed say they don’t believe Americans are experiencing enough play in their lives. Who better to inspire more play than our four-legged friends who bring smiles and spontaneity wherever they go? To help Americans get more play in their day, Beneful® brand dog food is launching a digital video campaign that features some fun-loving dogs that spread random acts of play in the most unexpected places.

For Thanksgiving weekend we packed up our things and got in the car to drive to Indiana and Davinia’s grandma and grandpa’s house. While we were there Indiana inspired some Random Acts of Play from her grandpa! While we were getting the cooking done in the kitchen I gave both girls a raw hide bone to keep them occupied. Well grandpa came inside from the garden and decided it was time to wrestle Indiana for her bone. They played for about 5 minutes (while I promised I wasn’t taking any pictures with him in it). Opps guess I messed up because the proof is right up there.

Davinia wasn’t nearly as excited about grandpa’s Random Acts of Play especially when it comes to trying to play with her bone. But they made up later in the day when he gave her some of the Turkey. Indiana is all about Random Acts of Play especially if there are men around for her to play with.

  1. Hey Cavaliers, Jet here. Hi Miss Felissa,

Great subject matter. Mom asked me to share that she took a whole 5 day workshop in play for relaxation, creativity and such. The class learned to juggle (sort of) balance spoons on their faces, play with parachutes like the little ones do, do down a hill on sheeting with water and bubbles, play frisbee, hula hoop, etc…

Oh, if only more offices would allow pets and play like the video… life would be so much more positive!

  2. I keep trying to start random acts of play with Scratchy – the cat I live with – and he always gets mad at me. I guess I’ll have to go into an office building next time. That looks like fun.
