I was visiting Bed Bath and Beyond last week and saw this Dog Treat Maker and thought to myself what a fantastic gift it would make for a little boy or girl who loves their dog and loves to help out around the kitchen! My little grand-dogs are so cute with my little grand-daughters! The puppies aren’t allowed to sleep with the girls, but every time I visit, I let them fall asleep together then move the pups to their own bed š (I’m the grandma…I can take a couple of liberties!)

we have a few pets, but my one year old seems to have bonded with my 10+ year old cat, gigi. they will lay down next to each other and he will put his head down on her soft fur. its really cute!

My 2 year old nephew *loves* my dog Shiloh. I babysit him here frequently, and the two spend the whole time playing together. Now whenever anyone says “Aunt Katie”, Landon immediately responds “Shiloh?! And Shiloh!? Let’s go see Shiloh!”
I don’t have kids but I have my own furkids and they hate when I leave them. My puppymill survivor Pug will bark when I leave or come back home. They follow me where ever I walk.

Well, I don’t have any human kids lol. Mine are covered in fur, and some have exoskeletons :p. My animals truly are my babies though. But my niece loves to play with my animals. And refers to them as her brother and sisters. Just the other day she was trying to make her bed, and my dog Missy decided to “help” by pulling the blankets in the opposite direction in a game of tug of war lol. Both were having so much fun. My kids are both grown and living on their own now, but I still have one of the dogs that we had together. The dog sure does remember them, and you can tell she misses them too.

I used to have a really great bond with my paralyzed doxie, but recently she passed away and I have found an amazing bond with our other little dog. I can feel how sad he is about losing her, we identify and that’s our little bond now. I adore him š

My son loves to feed his puppa treats. He just got his first apron and loves to cook things for his puppa and for the birds in the backyard.
Our dog protects and watches over Lydia.
Even though my children are not as gentle as they should be, both of my cats just lay down and let them do whatever to them. They sleep with my older son and are always trying to get my baby’s toys and blankets.

My son and his dog are best freinds — Like brothers
Our first dog was an Alaskian Malumute, she was a lovely dog and the boys loved her. She died and the boys were heart broken. We now have two black labs.
Our 4 year old boy and black lab are inseperable! The lab literally thinks he’s one of the kids! I love watching them nap together in the forts my son builds!
My daughter’s bond with her cat Chase is so sweet. Chase is the first thing she thinks about when she wakes up, gets off the bus from school and before bed. That cat is her life!
When we got our cat she was 6 months old and Jessie was 1 1/2. Shortly after we found out she was pregnant, well after she had her kittens we found her also mothering Jessie. She would swat his bottom if she found him doing something he wasn’t supposed to and she would meow real loud when he got hurt and cuddle him. She is now 14 and Jessie will be 16 soon and they still have this bond that I can’t understand, he talks to her and she meows back, she’s frantic when he leaves the house needing to be reassured he will come back. It’s more like she’s his mom and not his pet š
our 4 year old grandson has an incredible bond with our 6 year old golden retriever….their favorite thing to do is he blows bubbles and she jumps up and pops them…he laughs so hard! they are priceless together!

Our little maltipoo Missy is a rescue dog. My daughter was out just “looking” at several adoptions when she spotted her. She immediately fell in love but wasn’t sure she was ready for a dog. When I got home, we decided to have a “walk through” where the rescue center sends someone out to check out our yard and fence. They brought Missy with them and she followed my daughter constantly around the yard. She follows her everywhere to this day – four years later!

The dog sleeps with my daughter every night. She sleeps with her head on the pillow, right next to my daughter’s, with the sheets pulled up to her chin!
My son loves our dog, spends hours playing with him, enjoys giving him treats, and makes sure that the dog always has food /water in his dishes.

Our bunny George is normally a spaz when you hold him- he kicks and scratches and tries to jump out of your arms. When my daughter Stella holds him it’s completely different. He will actually fall asleep in her arms! She carries him around the house like a baby, she even wraps him up in a blanket. She’s the bunny whisperer!

We have a cute little “mutt” (I have no idea of her breed) named Sophie that we saved from the pound. She was abused and scared, but my son has become her go to pal now. They do everything together and will spend hours playing together!
My 3 year old and our beagle do everything together. She even sleeps right next to my daughters bed. They’re so cute to watch!
My daughter’s dog Swiffer is her closest companion. She found him running lose and rescued him and it is obvious he is totally grateful to her.

We got our Cockapoo named Jonas when my middle daughter (she was youngest at the time) had the swine flu! They have had a special bond ever sense because he sat in her lap with her the whole time she was sick!

Unfortunately I’ve never had a child so my dog is my child. We definitely have a strong bond but his bond with my husband is the strongest.
My nieces and nephews all love playing with the family dogs, and my dog is so excited when they are in town and gets very depressed when they leave.
When my nephew visited for the first time, my gog was quite suspicious of a new person and would sometimes growl or bark at him. This really made the nephew sad that Kermit didnot like him. After a bit of work Kermit decided to climb into nephew’s lap all his own idea. Nephew had the biggest smile and they were best buds after that.
Ralphie was born the my sons birthday. They were both born on Feb.1st Johnny was 10 when we gave him Ralphie! Johnny had a favorite stuffed dog named Ralphie since he was born so when we brought Ralphie home he was the same size and color as the stuffed dog so thats what he named him. They are like brothers I swear.
