Best Friends Pet Care Serves Holiday Meals to Shelter Pets across the U.S.
Roasted turkey, vegetables and sweet potatoes this feast being served to hundreds of homeless pets at more than two dozen animal shelters around the country, courtesy of Best Friends Pet Care. Best Friends Pet Care serves Thanksgiving dinner to pets boarding at the company’s 42 pet care centers on Thanksgiving. The meal features slices of turkey atop turkey-and-rice dog food, along with some favorite sides like yummy low calorie green beans and sweet potato fullof vitamins and minerals that are great for your dog.

For the past 6 years in the spirit of the holiday and giving thanks for what they have, Best Friends staff members make extra turkeys and delivering them to local animal shelters so that homeless pets have the chance to enjoy a special treat, too. while everyone is at home with their families enjoying a special meal the dogs at these shelters know that someone cares about them.
The feast is being delivered and served by Best Friends staff to each of their chosen shelters this week. Among the more than two dozen beneficiary shelters from across the country are the Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton MA, the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge in Oakland NJ, the Southside Animal Shelter in Indianapolis IN, Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control in Charlotte NC, and the Front Street Animal Shelter in Sacramento, CA.
