We here at Two Little Cavaliers have decided that since last year’s Social Media for Social Good event was so successful that we would do it again only this time it would be even bigger!!!

Last year we got together with a bunch of Bloggers with one goal in mind to use Social Media for Social Good during the Holiday season. We did just that! Something that would benefit the blogging community and the animals we all care so much about. I know you have all seen the blogging events where bloggers get together and offer cash prize to the winner of a Giveaway for liking them on Facebook or following them on Twitter. Well this event is very similar to those Blog Hops for Cash only there is not just one person taking home all the money. The cash prize will be split between the winner and a animal charity of their choice (charity must be a 501c3 and have a track record of saving animals) be it a local shelter, canine cancer, a service dog organization, or even a wildlife preservation organization.

Bloggers can sign up to promote their Facebook Fan Pages, Twitter links, and their Pinterest Account for just $10 for all 3 links! The $10 will be split in the following way $6 to the winner’s charity and $4 towards the winner’s cash prize. Instead of having you transfer the payment to my Paypal account I have set up a chip in widget this way we can all see how much money has been collected. Payment MUST be made in US dollars in the full amount of $10. Last year our goal was 35 Bloggers but this year I know we can get so much bigger. So I am not setting a goal at all we are just going to aim for the moon!
Last year we had several bloggers who decided that not only were they going to participate but they were going to add extra for the cash prize. All money above and beyond the $10 that you contribute will be put aside for the winners charity in order to help the animals.
Don’t worry people will not need to follow 35 blogger 3 separate ways all at once in order to be eligible to win. During the course of the two weeks you will put up three separate posts all of which you will receive the html code for in advance. Each of the 3 posts will have as their mandatory entry that they leave a blog comment. The winner will be chosen from the 3 Raffelcopter widgets via random.org. Since I am the one who will be in charge of contacting the winner all participating bloggers will be eligible to enter to win the giveaway.
We hope you will sign up to participate in this event. This is a great way to give back to animals in need and promote your blogs and other social media accounts in the process! Last year the winner received $112 Cash Prize for themselves and $213 sent directly to their charity of choice!

The not so fine print:
There is no admin fee for this event and to keep my costs to a bare minimum I have opted to use the exact same button as last year so that we can offer this special incentive to Bloggers. The person (blog) that sends us the most participating bloggers will receive $25 cash from Two Little Cavaliers for your help in promoting the event. All you need to do is write a blog post telling your readers about the event. Remember the more people that spread the word about the event the more participation there will be. Yes I realize that we are starting sign ups super early for this event but I will be out of town for much of October for Blogging things and wanted to make sure that this event is a success and not an after thought.
You can contribute to the chip-in even if you are not participating in the event. Only the money from Bloggers will be added to the cash prize for the winner all donations will be given to the winner’s charity of choice.
The blogger who sends the most participating blogs to the event will be emailed on December 13th when we close registration.

Great idea for a hop! I like how the winner gets something for themselves but we can also help out some animals in need.
