Follow our Week Long Adventure in a Mitsubishi Outlander

Mitsubishi

I was contacted by a company a few weeks ago who handles the Press Test Drive Vehicles for Mitsubishi to see if I would be interested in taking a week long test drive. They specifically wanted to have me drive with the dogs in the car and get their opinion of how things were. I of course agreed figured out what weekend I would be able to drive up to my parents and scheduled delivery. Delivery occured earlier today so I ran home and waited for a Mitsubishi Outlander to arrive in front of my apartment. I was curious as to what color they were going to send me. I was hoping for something fun and in pulls a bright red Outlander with California Distributor plates so I walked over to the vehicle and got to know it a little bit before being set free. Ok not completely set free I am not allowed without specical permission to take it on a test track or race with it but other then that the adventure we have is up to me. Oh right no trips to Mexico or Canada but I am free to drive the US if I wanted or had the free time.

We want to invite you to join us as we get to expirience all the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport has to offer as we take it through the paces for the next week. I will be posting once a day to update you on what I did and where I went. The girls aren’t scheduled to be in the car until Friday late afternoon (I am working the entire time I have the vehicle so they will only ge tto go for drives this weekend.) I might even throw in a video or two of the drive we will have to see. I am pretty tired today and I have a ton of email I need to catch up on after being sick and fighting the flu for the last few weeks so really doubt I will sneak in a night drive tonight.

The biggest bonus to the Outlander is that it has a hands-free device that connects to the Bluetooth in my Blackberry and I can drive and talk through the car instead of an ear set. The gas milage is pretty good for the size vehicle it is though I do have to give fair warning that I normally drive a MINI Cooper and get better gas milage so while I might not be raving about being able to fill up less then usual I do think that most people would be pretty impressed with that.

If you have any specific questions about the Outlander Sport please let us know so that we can test it out or let you know if I already knwo the answer to your question.

You can follow each post as it goes up Two Little Cavaliers Mitsubishi Adventure

Aside from the use of the vehicle and not needing to fill the gas tank up before they come and collect it I have not been compensated in any way by Mitsubishi or their PR company that handles the Press Cars for any of the posts that appear in this series. I also am under no obligation to post once a day I just figured that if I get to really expirience the vehicle and have an adventure with it you all would like to come along for the ride.
