Earlier today on our Facebook Fan Page we asked: “What is the most unusual pet related product you have ever seen or heard about“? We still would love to hear from you if you haven’t weighed in with your answer so click on the question and you will be sent directly to the thread of answers.
Tonight when I got home from work and was doing my usual checking for fun stories to share I found the most unbelievable pet beds and just had to share with you!

These Japanese Nanotechnology Pet Beds from ThinkGeek is designed to accommodate small dogs and fat cats as well as or pocket pets (think ferrets, guinea pigs, rats) up to 25 pounds. Its collapsible walls are coated with non-toxic silver nanoparticles which, when left in the sun for a few minutes, will automatically destroy bacteria, viruses, and the ammonia from puppy piddle. The “tongue” pad is also removable and machine washable for bigger messes.
While I doubt one of these will make an appearance in our house mainly because it is just not my style I would love to try out a pet bed that was maybe a bit more girly that had the same Nanotechnology. I like the fact that it is pretty much self cleaning just by putting it in the sun for a few minutes because we all know that even though most pet beds say they are machine washable you have to find a machine big enough to wash them in.

THAT IS AWESOME! Ha ha ha, maybe not for the living room, but maybe for the rec room or the dog room! It’s too cute!
