Teen Reunites Lost Dog with Owners

13-year-old Lexie Huff is an animal lover she loves all animals from dogs, to birds, to pot bellied pigs and now she is being named as a home town hero at least to one family and their lost dog.

When Lexie saw Sydnie walking around her neighborhood on April 7, she knew something was not right. She knows all of the dogs in her local area and knew this was not one of them. She also saw that Sydnie was clearly upset and exhausted. She was panting hard and seemed to be completely lost.

Lexie used her love of all animals to capture Sydnie. She was scared and wouldn’t come when called and kept backing away from everyone trying to help her. But after some time Lexie was able to catch Sydnie and give her some water to try and calm her down a little bit. After the water which the dog finished in no time Lexie looked on Sydnie’s collar and found a contact number.

Thanks to Lexie Sydnie is no longer a lost dog and is home sae and sound with her very thankful family.
