Abby has come back to the shelter looking for a new home. Since her adoption, Abby has really come out of her shell. She still needs someone who can spend time with her and let her open up. Her current home says she loves to be outside and run. Abby is good with dogs her same size and cats. I wouldn’t recommend her to a home with small children. As you may remember, Abby was 1 of 47 dogs who were living with a hoarder. She likes to sit in your lap but she is learning that she won’t be hurt if you go to pet her. In her home environment, she can really be herself and let you see what a sweet girl she can be. She is only a year old and weighs 11lbs. I’m only 8 years old, but my life sure has changed a lot! For a long time I was in a horrible cold place where human hands just meant pain and fear. I never had a gentle touch. I did not even know that there could be a different life. I did not have a name.
Then a rescue lady took me to her house. I was warm and clean and had such good food. All the parts of me that hurt got fixed. Oh! I was so scared! But I had a name: Trudie. After a short while, I went to live with a nice lady that had a lot of snow and good friends to play with. I learned how I could go outside when I wanted to by just pushing on a little door that was just my size. Gina is a young beautiful girl. She is a little shy at first but once she warms up to you, she is a real tail wagger. She is super sweet and quiet, she only wants to please. Gina gets along with everyone and will make a great best friend and companion. She just wants somebody to love her.
