RSPCA Targeting Breeders Who Care About Their Dogs

Instead of targeting Puppy Mills (Farms) or Dog Fighting Rings, or the Micro Mini sensation where dogs are bred so small their body does not function properly the RSPCA is targeting Pedigree dog breeders. Yes there are bad eggs in every carton but there are problems out there that they should be giving more attention to and are not. In both the US and the UK Puppy Mils / Farms are licensed by the government the rules and regulations they have to abide by are those for livestock. On the other hand those with true AKC credentials have to submit to regular kennel visits with standards far and above those of the USDA. If you have ever been on the road behind a chicken truck on the way to slaughter you would think the RSPCA would go after that industry and try and clean it up. But they would never go after such a high profit business they prefer to go after those who don’t make a profit and make things even harder for them. Through this campaign the RSPCA is handing puppy stores more business therefore enlarging the pockets of Puppy Farmers.

Apparently the RSPCA could care less that dogs are being mass bred in unhygienic conditions over and over again while living their life in a cage so small they can barely turn around. The RSPCA has turned a blind eye to Dog Fighting too because there isn’t as much PR and fundraising power there.

In their new “Bred for Looks, Born to Suffer” Campaign the RSPCA is going after the Kennel Club, Crufts Dogs Show, and Responsible Breeders who have been working tirelessly to better their breeds. While not everyone who shows their dogs at Cruft’s is doing the right thing the majority of those who breed and show their dogs do want to better the breed which includes breeding out genetic diseases and disorders that have cropped up over time. The RSPCA they would rather see two dogs of different breeds bred together with who knows what background at a Puppy Mill where the puppies will be removed from their mothers too soon and their parents will stay behind never feeling grass under their paws. Responsible breeders breed for health and structure first and foremost. They want to produce dogs that are healthy and fit for function.

I am not saying that breeders are infallible or decisions they thought were the right ones 10 years ago now that we have tests available turn out not to have been the right ones. I am saying that Reputable Breeders are already testing their dogs before breeding and are making sure they are fit for the purpose of their breed. They are the ones working with the Researchers to try and find testing and cures for the diseases. Research that is not only helping their dogs but advancing understanding of the same disease in humans faster then would be possible with just human research.

RSPCA in Australia became a private business (incorporated) in 1999 and discarded the old charters except for domestic animals. It uses its arm of charity to promote its criminal acts with lies and defamation. I know as a victim since 1996 from the lies of jealous registered Poodle Clubs breeders who liaised with RSPCA. The courts have sealed subpoena evidence against RSPCA and our Labor governments continue to allow our Animal Care and Protection Act designed specifically for RSPCA self supervision, to committed crimes against the RSPCA selected phantom animal abusers to raise massive monies from the ignorant public as well as obtain $millions from our incompetent goverments. This horrible event is worldwide. It is time the Queen of England cease to support RSPCA organisations. It is disgraceful that this much loved charity has since the 1980’s when the animal fanatics took it over is now a real disgrace to all peoples in all countries.
