Little Girl’s Austism Service Dog Found Beaten to Death

Last week we asked for everyone’s help in trying to find a 9 year old little girls Autism Service dog that had been taken from her yard. It has now been confirmed that the Toby the dog was found dead and beaten with what investigators believe to be a baseball bat in the family’s yard in Moncks Corner, five days after they reported the animal was stolen.

Children waiting for a school bus told investigators they saw someone take the dog Tuesday morning and an all out search for the dog began. Toby the American Bull Terrier played a very special role in the life of one of her family members. Allie is a 9 year old little girl with autism and Toby was trained to to keep her safe so that she could be more independent. Allie has only a very limited vocabulary and so Toby was her lifeline when she was upset or in danger.

Run free at the Rainbow Bridge sweet Toby.

My heart sank when I read this post. How/Why would anyone do something like this?? Evil does exist in this world, that is for sure – and this was pure evil. My prayers are with Allie and her family.

  6. How awful. That poor family.

  7. Did they find who did it? This is an outrage!! I am soooo tired of hearing stories about people mistreating/killing animals. What’s the payoff here? What do animals do wrong? If anything , people deserve to be clubbed to death. That person who did that, will be clubbed over and over in hell. Nobody will help either!!! Watch out human, your time is coming!!!
