A Newton county Georgia man says while he was out of town, a group of young intruders broke into his home, threw a birthday party and washed their dog in his bathroom tub. The sheriff’s office is now investigating, but do know the names and addresses of the robbers. used one of the man’s camera’s to take pictures of themselves enjoying the party and the use of his house right there for him to find.
Roderick Ward said when he got home after being gone for more than 10 days he found his air conditioning on and he knows he turned it off. The robbers didn’t do much to cover their tracks they had eaten his food and used his toiletries, left dog hair all over the bathroom along with the dogs collar. There was also a partially eaten birthday cake left in his kitchen. He thinks its a bit bizarre that they brought over a dog to wash in his bathroom.
The pictures left on his camera show a couple of teenagers and another child who he says couldn’t be older than 8. The sheriff’s office identified the teens and child in the pictures and contacted their parents. The children who broke in live in his neighborhood and all of his missing items minus one camera have been returned. The parents of the teens and child went to his house and apologized for what had happened. At this time he does not plan on pressing charges against the children and is just glad he didn’t come home at night and find them in his house throwing a party. He is glad his stuff has been returned and that no one was injured or worse and hope they boys will learn their lesson.
At this time the police have not revealed where the dog came so no pictures are available. All pictures of the party are police evidence.
