Dogs Left to Fend for Themselves for Two Weeks Eat Owner When He Returns From Vacation

A man in Indonesia left his nine dogs without any food or water for two weeks while he vacationed for the holidays. When he returned, his dogs must have been happy to see him. Not because they loved or missed their owner at that point but because they were starving. They believe the man was eaten shortly after returning home. How no one noticed the dogs left to fend for themselves in the yard while he was on vacation is beyond me. They must have been barking and very upset for a while being that they had no food or water left for them.

The man’s body was discovered after a neighborhood guard noticed luggage outside the man’s house, days after he had returned home. The guard approached the house and noticed a funny smell. When police arrived they discovered man’s body inside. The authorities needed to tranquilize the dogs before they could get into the yard to investigate as the dogs were still starving and dehydrated.

Authorities are now faced with the difficult decision of whether the dogs truly are vicious and need to be put down or if they were just so hungry after being left for 2 weeks to fend for themselves that with some time and work they could become great and loving family pets.
