Michael Dineen a teenager has been found guilty of two counts of two robbery, two counts of causing grievous bodily harm, two counts of owning a dangerous dog out of control, and one count of taking a car. His victims lured to his home with fake food orders, Michael Dineen used his Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cleo to carry out two vicious robberies, brutally attacking his victims for a pizza, some Indiana curry and a few pounds cash.
At sentencing last Friday the judge said: “It is clear the dog was used by you as a weapon and it appears she had been effectively trained by you to attack. “This was nothing more than gratuitous and unnecessary violence.” The judge decided not to order the destruction of Cleo, but directed that the dog’s registered owner, Dineen’s mother, must keep it under proper control.
He has been sentenced to 9 years in jail.

How sad that anyone would do this to a dog and to the humans attacked.
