From Pound Puppy To Doggy Movie Star

Ricky Gervais has revealed the dog in his new movie ‘Spy Kids: All the Time in the World’ was going to be put down before the dog was found by the film crew and chosen for the movie. The comic actor voices the cunning canine character Argonaut in the new children’s movie and Ricky tells reporters that the dog was a rescue who was facing euthanasia before he was turned into a Hollywood star.

During an appearance on British daytime TV show ‘This Morning’, he said: “I’m not the star of this film, it’s the dog, he’s the cutest dog in the world … He was a rescue dog, they were going to put him down but the crew saved him and put him in the film and made him a star.”
