Camilla Duchess of Cornwall Rescues Puppy

Camilla the Duchess of Cornwall has adopted a new puppy named Beth from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. It was announced by the Royal Social Media Twitter Account Clarence House Monday. “Beth is a charming, confident little puppy and we know she will be very happy in her new home,” Battersea’s chief executive Claire Horton said in a statement on the rescue’s website.

Camilla had to pay the same fee and go through the same pre-adoption qualifications as everyone else in order to be able to adopt the new member of her canine pack. Just because you are a member of the Royal family does not exempt you from needing vet references or home checks apparently. Of course once the paperwork was out of the way the new puppy was picked up by the Duchesses Driver and driven to her new home in the royal limo. Beth will be joining Camilla’s two other Jack Russells Tosca and Rosie.

Three Jack Russells, wow. She will have her hands full but then I’m sure she has help!
