Are you feeling a little left out after hearing all the great things about the first two BlogPaws Conferences? You want to go to BlogPaws but its just not in the budget this year? Would you like to win a FREE trip to BlogPaws so you can meet all of your friends, attend the sessions, and have an amazing time? Then this is the opportunity for you. And let’s face it we all like to share pictures of our pets so this should be an easy contest to participate in.

BlogPaws has officially launched its 2011 “Win a Trip to BlogPaws” contest on Facebook. This is YOUR chance to win a travel package covering your airfare, your hotel, and your registration just by sharing a photo of your pet telling us why YOU should get to come to BlogPaws. Be creative. You can add a picture caption with one word, one sentence or more. You can write a short up to 50 words essay – if that’s more your style. But, get those pictures to us and share this contest with all your pet pals!

Grand Prize

Grand Prize consists of a travel package to Tysons Corner, VA, to attend BlogPaws 2011. The prize includes round trip, coach air transportation for the winner to Tysons Corner, VA, plus hotel accommodations for three nights at the Sheraton Premiere Tysons Corner. Trip also includes admission to BlogPaws 2011, August 25 – 27, 2011.

2nd Prize

Two (2) Second Place prize winners will each receive one (1) admission pass to the BlogPaws 2011 conference in Tysons Corner, VA, August 25 – 27, 2011.

Judges (that’s us!) will evaluate all eligible Submissions based on the following objective criteria: The entry who gives Davinia and Indiana the biggest cookies, a blank check made out to us, and a new puppy.

Apparently that is not how you win here are the real criteria: Photo Quality and Composition, fifty percent (50%) and Originality and Creativity, fifty percent (50%). In the event of a tie, judges will use the score for Originality and Creativity to break the tie. One (1) Submission with the highest score will be selected as the potential Contest Grand Prize Winner. The two (2) Submissions with the next highest scores will be the potential Second Prize winners. In the event of a tie the Sponsor’s judges will re-judge tied entries based on the Judging Criteria until one (1) Submission is determined to be the Grand Prize Winner and two (2) Submissions the Second Prize Winners.

PSSS Pets are welcome at BlogPaws. There is even a playroom with space to run around and play as well as beds if your baby needs some nap time. There have also been a few ferrets, some cats, and a guinea pig. Children are invited as well. There is a special student rate for them to attend and sit in on the sessions.
