The way it works is you post a short question on your blog and link up each week at An Island Life the hostess of this event so others can come and visit your blog and answer your question. Everyone can post their own question just make sure to keep it family friendly.
Our question for you:
Have you ever been to Japan? Would you like to visit someday?
I have never been to Japan but it is on my list of must see places. While there are some Countries in Asia that not only would I love to visit but I would love to live for a while. Japan was never an option because I don’t speak Japanese. I don’t know if that will change now and English will become a language of business. Though I do have to say that learning more about the currency and the exchange rate of the Yen I am not sure I could ever deal with paying something like 100 Yen for a glass of iced tea or a few hundred Yen for a bowl of noodles. That would sort of freak me out.

I love to travel. yes I'd love to visit Japan and many other places. I hope I do get to.
And in my country you have to pay a couple hundred dollars for a lollipop anyway:) so that would be a bit easier for me in regards to the yen.
Aloha!
I have never been to Japan, but I would love to visit there some day. I also want to tour the wine country in Italy. 🙂
Aloha: When the Lights Go Out
I have been to Japan and had to reschedule my return due to the earthquakes. My husband is from Japan, born and raised in Tokyo. We have family and friends who live there as well. I had never been before I met my husband (always loved the culture) but I would not recommend going unless you have a handle on the language or know someone who does. I took Japanese in college and was lost. Although, many speak English.
I LOVE 100 yen shops. Yes, the conversion seems odd, but the stores are amazing. The type of things and the quality of the item you can get for about a dollar is amazing. However, it did bother me to buy something that was 2,500 yen! Kinda scared me for a sec!
Hi Y'all,
