Some Updates and Pet Bloggers Blog Hop

We have some major updates this week. With so much going on even we need a recap to keep up with everything.

 1. We are running for Vice Presidents of Pop Culture for popchips and we would be grateful for your vote. Watch our video and then hop on over to Facebook to vote for us and receive your coupon for $1 off your next bag of popchips. http://apps.facebook.com/involver_kotijoyj/feature/1050221/content/175665339

2. Next weekend we are hosting the Carnival of Cats! To Participate
Submit your catblogging post any day during the week to the handy BlogCarnival submission form or email to carnivalofthecats(at)gmail.com.Please try and get your articles in as soon as possible so I have time to read your posts and create the Carnival post. I will have some cat product reviews and giveaways going up during the week with a recap in the Blog Carnival post. If you would like your CAT product featured in a review or giveaway in the days before the event please email us directly twolittlecavaliers(@)gmail.com

3. Our Plea to Flea and Tick Companies went unanswered by the companies but we received some amazing help from all of you. We are not flea free but hopefully well on our way there for good. Everyone is sleeping the night around here again. We learned a lot more then we ever cared to know about the life cycle of fleas. I know TMI but we are going to share so you know how to take care of the problem if it happens to you.

4. Some more major changes took place this week at Linky Tools and I am hoping that it has solved the problem of making our blogs load really slowly. They now have a dedicated server to hopefully speed things up. Please let me know if you expirience any problems so I can bring it to the developers attention.

  1. You have been busy! I've barely been able to keep up with you this week!

  2. You two are ROCK stars. I enjoyed your video. We're working on a couple of videos for the Hop. They're almost finished. You got our vote! Thanks for hosting, and have great weekend!!

  3. Thanks for hosting the Blog Hop once again. This time I'm participating for the first time!

However, I am a bit unclear what you mean by “following”. I already follow a bunch of blogs through RSS feeds… But I have a feeling that's not what you mean! Could you please explain?

  4. You've got my vote!

  5. Two Little Cavaliers says

Following via RSS Feed is perfect. Some people follow via Google Friend Connect or sign up for email subscriptions whatever works best for you.

  6. Hi Felissa: I've been sort of out of the loop recently with a ton of company. But I did want to offer up my assistance on your flea problem. We do everything organically around here at All Things Dog Blog, and haven't had a flea outbreak in…..well, I don't know when. I've written extensively about methods and my holistic vet columnist has as well. If you need any more ideas, give me a shout at [email protected]. I'd be happy to help.

  7. Wonderful video. So sorry to hear about the fleas! We use Comfortis and haven't had a flea problem, but I don't know what to do about stopping the cycle in the house. Sounds like you've gotten some good suggestions. Hope SOMETHING helps. Poor doggies, poor you!

Come on over and try some agility and maybe the fleas won't be able to keep up!! I wish!
    Your pals,
    Diane and Cosmo

Busy, busy! But isn't it great! We lived in Texas for years, so we know how awful fleas can be. I hope you have them eradicated.

  11. Jan's Funny Farm says

We're catching up on your blog so we just read your posts on comment security. We don't get to visit blogs like we used to because it takes so long to leave a short comment. And sometimes we have to really search the tiny print to find where to comment. All of that security does discourage us from leaving comments.

If you learned anything natural and safe that works on fleas, we'd love to hear about it.

  12. You got our vote!!!

  13. Jess the Dog Shopper says

Hey, thanks for hosting the blog hop…it's our first time, but we are having fun cruising around everyone's blogs! I don't know what to say about the flea problem that you probably haven't heard already! That stinks that it's lasted so long.

  14. Trixie, Lily, and Sammy-Joe says

Is any post written by a cat eligible for the catblogging carnival?

  15. Two Little Cavaliers says

Any post that you think is important for other cats to read even if it is just an introduction of yourself.

  16. Cokie the Cat says

YOu're hilarious hosting the Carnival of the Cats! I love it!
