Make a New Friend Tuesdays: Winnie’s Dog Blog

Every Tuesday we introduce you to a new blogging friend. We know that Blog Hops can get overwhelming and you don’t really get to know everyone you just want to be able to stop by to say hello to get to say hi to everyone on the list.

We came up with Make a New Friend Tuesdays. This way we can really get to know a bit about our new friends and everyone can drop by to say hello since its one blog once a week. Don’t worry we will still be having Blog Hops this is just a bonus! This is a much more intimate way to get to know your fellow Bloggers and introduce yourself to them. I love getting to actually spend a few minutes looking through their posts to see what their blog is all about and of course getting to see pictures!

If you would like your blog to be featured please fill out this form and we will feature your blog will be featured.

Woah, better not let Nigel Buggers see this picture!

Meet our new Friends over at Winnie’s Dog Blog

I am Elaine Pritchard, just turned 49, but I blog for Winnie my eight-year-old greyhound who picked us (me, hubby, 12-year-old formerly dog-phobic son and 20-year-old University student daughter) as her forever family in August 2010. We all live in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England.

Clean those shiny white teeth!

As a family we are also involved in amateur dramatics (me and the children on stage and the husband backstage). Being made redundant last year after nearly 30 years of working for newspapers, gave me the chance, to set-up my own business which involves me doing freelance writing and I’m also developing a pet bereavement website – www.lostandfond.co.uk

Winnie adores pilchards and cheese and she loves all bright colours especially if they are featured on squeaky dog toys with bells on.

What a sweet girl!

Her racing name was Heads You Win and she ran at Sheffield stadium in Yorkshire where she was placed first, second or third 81 times after about 130 races and trials. She is the most laid-back relaxed dog in the world….until she sees a cat or a squirrel at which point she goes berserk!!
