#blogathon Meet Tigger

Tigger was found in a north suburban feral colony. Neighbors were complaining and authorities were threatening to euthanize the colony, so local rescuers acted quickly to find the colony as many foster homes as possible.

Tigger was a standout in this feral colony–in more ways than one. First and foremost, Tigger is a VERY large cat (he’d like you to know he’s not overweight: he’s just a giant cat, thank you!) Second of all, Tigger wasn’t really a feral cat at all; he was a very friendly stray that was likely owned at some point in his life…he somehow found his way to the feral colony.

Tigger is now safe and comfortable in his new foster home. We estimate Tigger is a couple of years old. He’s a gentle giant–so patient when he’s being fed…he lets all the other animals get their food and never pushes his way in line.

Tigger does fine with other cats and dogs, but Tigger really wants to spend time with people. He climbs into your lap and is content to relax there all day.

Tigger is ready for a warm lap and a home for life. This big boy will steal your heart! To learn more about Tigger, please contact [email protected]
