This soft and cozy sleeping bag is ideal for small pets who like to burrow in to feel safe.

The sleeping bag is made of soft pastel flannel, lined with light pink fleece and chocolate brown furry fleece. Furry fleece is very soft and silky. No seam edges. The finished size is 20×25 inches. Machine wash (cold water and gentle cycle) and dry.

These bags are very cute when personalized with your pet’s name! Machine embroidery is available on custom made items in two font choices and your choice of over 120 colors of embroidery thread. Font samples shown.

Welcome to NikTu! How things came about……..The kids are snowboarding this winter with fun new helmets! They wanted something to protect their helmets from scratches. Our family adopted a chihuahua mix from a rescue shelter. This little dog liked to climb in between blankets, bed sheets and throws. I made her her own sleeping bag. She noses herself inside it, lays on it, and crawls under it. Now we know where she is! We have sleeping bags on the beds, in the car and on the couch.

The Review:

This Bed is adorable. When it arrived I let Davinia and Indiana try it out really quickly because I was so exicted to get to see it myself. It is so soft and cuddly and the inside has an even softer faux fur layer for extra burrowing warmth. I love this bed wish it was my size then I might not have been so cold this weekend when I attended Blog Paws. This sleeping bag bed is perfect for any small burrowing animal you have at home. I would say a dog 15lbs or less could enjoy sleeping inside the bag any one that weighs more would have to curl up on top of the bed. I think that ferrets would love this bed as well as other small family pets chinchilla, hamsters, gerbils, hedgehog. Being allergic to cats it has been quite a long time since I have lived in a house with them so I don’t know if they like to burrow or not.

Indiana got it after I put her head inside. Davinia I had to put her entire body inside. Neither was a huge fan of being inside the sleeping bag but that was something I had already known. Davinia and Indiana have to be really cold before they will burrow inside a bed. I knew I wanted to give them time to check it out and explore it for themselves but not get it all dirty so I put it on one of our IKEA chairs and just left it there. Several days later “Davinia” went missing. I could not find her anywhere I looked in every room with a dog bed I thought she might be curled up in no luck. I knew all the doors were closed and locked so she could not have gotten far. All of a sudden I hear her tail thump thump thumping and look over and there she is all balled up on top of the sleeping basket a happy little girl. Well this was quite a feat for her. She can’t jump up so basically she pulled herself up onto the footrest portion and walked onto the chair so that she could be on the sleeping bag. Since that day a few weeks ago anytime that Davinia is not resting right next to me I know I can find her on the chair on her favorite sleeping bed. In fact that is where she is right now as I type. Sometimes I even find Indiana resting on the foot rest waiting for Davinia to get down so that she can sleep on the sleeping bag herself. When Indiana gets the sleeping bag bed first she will not give it up either and then I find Davinia waiting for her to leave.

Thank you so much for the towels as well, they are so cute and Davinia and Indiana have never had anything embroidered with their names before.
