Tanner the Kuvasz has record breaking AKC show wins which means he is the Top Winning Kuvasz ever! This dog has more titles in front and behind his name then most other dog that will be in the ring tonight combined. The most impressive accomplishment by far though for those who don’t know dog sports or dog events is that he is a fully certified Delta Society therapy dog during his time off from showing. He is certainly a top contender in tonight’s Working Dog Group Ring.
Scarlet went head to head with her male rival this morning and came out as Best of Breed little surprise to those who have been following her career over the past year but stiff competition either way. She is a very solid girl I really like her structure and her defined muscles to me she looks like a mix between the German and American type Boxers not quite as big as a German Boxer would be but more substantial then many American Boxers. Then again I am really partial to the look of many European Bred Dogs compared to their American counterparts. Purely personal opinion and for another post.
Fifi has a sparkle when she gets into the ring that few dogs can overcome when put up against her. Tonight the Group 1 for Working Dogs is hers to win. Her competition will be fierce but the belief is she will be able to overcome the spotlight and audience to make it to the Best in Show Ring like a Pro.
The Cocker Spaniel that was set to win it all didn’t win the breed and so now tonight could belong to any of the top dogs. With the spot at the top open like this it could be the terriers who take Best in Show once again this year. With this little Smooth Fox Terrier named Adam leading the charge.
Though some say if you like to cheer for the underdog that this Skye Terrier named Buddy is the one to watch for tonight.
What breed would you like to see take center stage tonight as the 2012 Westminster Best in Show?
